Pooism - Way ‘Too Original Art’
Posted by FirstHandArt on 04 Jan 2007 | Tagged as: Original Art News
This is maybe taking the idea of original art too far!
Decorated dog poo is taking the American art world by storm. A group of anonymous artists are disguising themselves in dog masks and transforming piles of dog poo they find in the steets into little animals and ‘works of art’. Ice cream sprinkles, plastics toys and other embellishments complete the crappy art creations. The artists refer to themselves as No 1, No 2 and No 3. As yet, it is uncertain whether they have received any approaches to exhibit in Tate Modern.
